Cross Country Competes at UC RiversidePublished by
Westmont Men's and Women's Cross Country competed at the 33rd UC Riverside Cross Country Invitational on Saturday Morning and posted some impressive results.
The seventeenth-ranked Westmont women's team finished sixth (190 points) in a field of 16 in the 6,000 meter invitational event. The race included NCAA Division I, II and III teams but did not include another NAIA team. UC Santa Barbara (31 points) finished first with Nike Team Run LA (51 points) taking second. UC Riverside (81 points) and Southern Utah (147 points) finished third and fourth respectively and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps placed fifth (163 points).
Former GSAC opponents Azusa Pacific (248 points) and California Baptist (271 points) placed eighth and tenth respectively.
