Warriors Garner GSAC Scholar-Athlete Honors

Fourteen Westmont fall-sport athletes have been named Golden State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes. In order to receive the honor, athletes must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and be juniors or seniors. The recipients from men's cross country are Paul Anderson, a senior English major from Naperville, Ill.; Matthew Day, a senior religious studies major from Clayton, Calif.; Jack Rogan, a senior kinesiology major from Austin, Texas and Matthew Shiney a senior double-major in political science and business and economics from Thousand Oaks. The women's cross country recipients are Amber Collier, a junior kinesiology major from Riverside and her twin sister Breean Collier, a junior sociology major. The volleyball GSAC Scholar-Athletes are Candice Adema, a senior business and economics major from Ripon, Calif.; Kelli Ching, a senior liberal studies major from Honolulu, Hawaii and Kristin Schroeder, a senior business and economics major from Santa Barbara.
